The Covenant Christian boys’ soccer team enters the 2025 season with a clear mission—defend last year’s state championship. While the Warriors graduated four seniors, they return 15 letter winners, including their top three goal scorers and the backbone of a defense that allowed just nine goals all season, a school record. The attack will once again be paced by Will Doan, Nathan Afolayan, and Ephraim Brock, while the defense remains anchored by veterans Titus Faulk, Braden Ransberger, Elias McCrory, and goalkeeper Owen Hitchcock. With only three players on the varsity roster yet to see game action, this is a veteran group loaded with experience and poise. Coach Brown believes this squad may be the most talented 1A team in the state, combining leadership, depth, and the confidence that comes from multiple deep postseason runs. The program’s theme for 2025 is “Uncommon.” Coach Brown challenges his players to embody uncommon discipline, character, and tenacity both on and off the field. Repeated success and sustainment are uncommon, just as living a Christian life in the world should be. The Warriors start their season with a home opener vs. University on Thursday at 5pm.
