Covenant Christian High School JV and Varsity Girls City Tournament gets underway next week. Make sure to come check out the Covenant Varsity Warriors Tuesday, January 14 at 7:30 pm in Warrior Fieldhouse as they take on the winner of Crispus Attucks and Arsenal Tech. If the Warriors win, they will play in the city semi-finals on Thursday, January 16 at 7:30 pm at Cathedral High School. The city championship will be played Friday, January 17 at Cathedral High School at 7:30 pm. Make sure to come early at 6:00 pm to check out JV action! The Varsity Boys JV and Varsity City tournament kicks off the following week with an exciting matchup for our Warriors. The Boys Varsity will play Providence Cristo Rey on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:30pm at Warrior Fieldhouse. If the Warriors are victorious, they will face off against the winner of Purdue Poly Englewood and Charles Tindley on Thursday, January 23. The city championship game will be played Monday, January 27 at Arsenal Tech at 7:30 pm. Make sure to come early to check out the JV action! *Tickets are required for entry into both basketball tournaments. They are $7 for adults and $3 for students and seniors, and all persons in attendance must have a ticket even when Covenant is the host (no season or Shield Club passes, CCHS students must pay).
