Covenant Christian High School

The Covenant Warrior swim team had the opportunity to compete in the Indianapolis City Alliance Championships on Saturday, December 14 at Pike High School. Despite being relatively few in number, the Warriors made a strong showing for their school with a handful of podium finishes and one City Champion. Freshman Madi Eagen earned All-City honors with her first place finish in the 100 breaststroke. She also placed second in the 500 freestyle. Sophomore Ava Smith was second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 100 backstroke. On the boys side, freshman James Bonikowske was fifth in the 50 freestyle and placed eighth in the 100 butterfly. The Warriors will enjoy an extending holiday break before returning to the pool on January 6 in a meet at Indian Creek High School.
