Not one but two program records were broken for Covenant track in last night's sectional meet at Pike High School. The 4x100m relay team took down the old record of 44.31 set in 2019 with their time of 44.29. The team was made up of freshman Titus Falk, sophomore Nathan Afolayan, junior Sam Lyons, and junior Noah Bryant. Senior Jack Scoggins broke the program record in the 300m hurdles and was crowned sectional champion with his time of 39.86. He crushed the previous record of 40.90 that has stood since 2007. Jack will represent Covenant in the Pike regional meet on Thursday, May 23.
