Sectional #43 will be hosted by Park Tudor on February 2 and 3. Four teams will battle it out, but only one will be crowned sectional champs and move on to the regional round. The Sheridan Blackhawks and host Park Tudor Panthers will open the action on Friday night at 6 p.m. Your Covenant Warriors will take on the University Trailblazers in Game #2 at 7:30 p.m. Winners from each game will play in Saturday's 7:30 p.m. championship. Take a look at the full bracket here. The Warriors have recent history with University. The Trailblazers, who currently hold a 9-10 record on the season, defeated Covenant on January 6, 60-27. The Warriors have not seen Park Tudor this year, but they did have an early season matchup with Sheridan on November 16 when the Blackhawks edged them out, 55-46. Sheridan has gone on to compile a 15-4 record. Park Tudor stands at 8-8. Mark your calandar and come out to support your CCHS girls basketball team Friday, February 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Park Tudor! Guidelines: The following restrictions apply to IHSAA tournament events: -No publications, brochures, fliers, etc. of any kind, whether for sale or free‐of‐charge, are to be distributed at IHSAA tournament events without prior approval from the IHSAA. -Balloons, banners and/or posters, etc. are not permitted. -Cowbells and other such noise devices, banners, shakers on sticks, signs, posters, etc., are not permitted. -No live animal mascots are permitted. -Line‐up lanes of fans shall not be permitted on the playing floor at any time. -Audio/video devices are not permitted on the playing floor. -The throwing of articles, including toilet tissue, is not allowed. It shall be the responsibility of each high school principal to see that the above restrictions are enforced. -There will be no smoking allowed on the grounds of Park Tudor School. -All entering (not on a team bus/in uniform) must have a ticket.
