Summer/Fall Updates — June 14, 2020

As you all know, we have been experiencing very unusual times in the last 3+ months.  We hopefully are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as we are nearing what we hope will be a return to campus for summer workouts in July and the school year and Fall sports in August. 

CCC All-Academic Award Winners

The Athletic Department is very pleased to announce the 2019-20 Circle City Conference All-Academic Award winners from CCHS.  The CCC recognizes seniors who have competed on varsity athletic rosters while compiling a minimum 3.8 grade point average over seven semesters.  The award winners each year will receive a certificate recognizing this accomplishment. IHSAA Releases Guidance Regarding Physicals for the 2020-21 School Year

Notter, Borom Pick Up Postseason Recognitions

The Girls Volleyball team (7-20) picked up a win and a loss in the IHSAA Sectional #42 on Saturday, but the loss ended the Lady Warriors’ season. The Girls Volleyball team (6-18), the #6 seed in this year’s City Tournament bracket, fell to the #3 seeded Bishop Chatard HS Lady Trojans in the quarterfinals on Tuesday night, 3-1. The Girls Volleyball team picked up a win last night in the first round of the City Tournament, as the #6 seeded Lady Warriors hosted the #11 seed Lady Titans of Arsenal Tech HS.  CCHS won quickly and decisively, winning 3-0 (25-4, 25-5, 25-3). IHSAA Releases State Volleyball Tournament Pairings

The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) released the draw for the 48th annual Girls Volleyball State Tournament on Sunday night via a live broadcast on the IHSAA Champions Network (www.ihsaatv.org).  The state tournament will kick off with the sectional round, played at sixty-four sites around the state, on October 15-19.  The sixty-four sectional winners
