CCHS Honors 2018-19 Sportsmanship Athletes

The Covenant Athletic Department held their annual Sportsmanship Award Banquet on Thursday night.  This unique event is a catered dinner that each of the 18 programs at CCHS invite an opposing player that has demonstrated good sportsmanship and character this year or over the course of their career while competing in their respective sport.  Twelve

Tennis Season Ends in Regional

The Girls Tennis season ended on Tuesday in the IHSAA Regional #3 semifinal, falling to Zionsville CHS 5-0.  ZCHS moved on to face Park Tudor in the regional final, losing to the Panthers 5-0. Girls Tennis Wins Back-to-Back Sectional Titles

The Girls Tennis team defeated host Ben Davis HS 3-2 to win Sectional #9, their second straight sectional titles.  The sectional title is the fourth in program history, and marks the second consecutive year that the Lady Warriors defeated the Lady Giants 3-2. Egenolf/Yates Fall in City Final

The Girls Tennis #1 Doubles team of Seniors Shelby Yates and Faith Egenolf lost their match in the City Tournament finals to the #1 seeded team from Cathedral HS, Belle Montefalco and Cole Spau.  Cathedral defeated Covenant in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. IHSAA Releases Girls Tennis State Tournament Draw

The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) released the draw for the 2019 Girls Tennis State Tournament draw last night via a webcast on the IHSAA Champions Network (www.ihsaatv.org).  This marked the second year in a row that the IHSAA released the draw via a webcast. Yates & Egenolf Advance to City Tennis Finals

The Girls Tennis team competed in the City Tennis Tournament on Saturday at Riverside Park.  The Lady Warriors’ #1 Doubles team of Seniors Faith Egenolf and Shelby Yates advanced to Monday’s City final.
