GBB Opens Season with Win

The Girls Basketball team (1-0) opened up the 2018-19 season with a solid win over Scecina Memorial HS, 54-32 on Saturday afternoon at SMHS. The Lady Warriors struggled to get their footing early, missing several open shots, but the defensive intensity paid off, as CCHS pulled away with a 22-9 advantage in the second quarter.

The Covenant Cross Country team had three individuals compete in the IHSAA Regional at Ben Davis HS yesterday.  All three athletes, Senior Ashlyn Hastings, Junior Harland Lory, and Freshman Clayton Reichanadter, advanced out of the sectional round on the same BDHS course last week.
