The Indianapolis City Alliance girls basketball tournament draw was released today. The Lady Warriors (3-7) earned the #4 seed based on Sagarin ratings, which means they will host a first round game. They are scheduled to play Indianapolis George Washington (3-7) next Monday, January 11 for a varsity only game at 6pm.
If Covenant wins they will host another game on Tuesday, January 12 versus the winner of Cardinal Ritter (who Covenant lost to earlier in the season, 50-56) and Arsenal Tech. The winner of that game will advance to the semi-finals on Thursday, January 14 at Cathedral at 6pm. The finals will also be played at Cathedral on that Friday at 7:30pm.
The JV team will also participate in the tournament. They drew a first-round bye and will host Cardinal Ritter on Tuesday January 14 at 6pm. The semi-finals and finals will be played at Cathedral the same night as the varsity games at 4:30pm and 6:00pm, respectively.
