Both the Boys and the Girls Cross Country teams competed in the Harrison Invitational on Saturday. The Boys finished fifth in the Small School race, with Junior Clayton Reichandater finishing fourth in the small school race with a time of 16:53. Sophomore Yoezer Cassell finished second for Covenant, running a personal record of 18:01. This time placed Cassell in 22nd place overall. Junior Archie McKissisk also had a big PR for the Warriors, finishing in 20:45. Senior Tim Skaggs finished third for Covenant in a time of 18:20, good for 30th place overall in the small school race. On the girls side, Junior Rachel Shaughnessy led an incomplete team for Covenant, finishing in 24:52, placing 72nd overall. She was followed up by Sophomore Rachel Snyder with a 25:50. The Warriors will get back to the starting line on Saturday morning, as they will compete in the Ben Davis Invitational at BDHS at 8:30am.
