Multiple Teams · Reichanadter Makes All-City Team, Boys Finish Sixth

The City Alliance ran the 2019 Cross Country City Meet on Saturday morning in near perfect weather conditions at Graham Martin Park.  The Boys team ran well, finishing in sixth place with a score of 140.  The Warriors’ score was just two points out of fifth place.  Bishop Chatard HS finished with a score of 45, with three runners finishing in the top six places.  Cardinal Ritter HS had the top two finishes, brothers Paul and Will Stamm, but took third as a team with a score of 66, just one point behind Cathedral HS.  Heritage Christian took fourth place.  2019 City Tournament Boys XC Official Results.  Due to injuries, CCHS did not have any female runners compete on Saturday.

Sophomore Clayton Reichanadter was the top Covenant finisher, running a 17:32 to finish in eighth place, which places Reichanadter on this year’s All-City Team.  Reichanadter makes the All-City team for the second year in a row.  He placed tenth in last year’s City race.

Junior Tim Skaggs finished second for CCHS, coming in 20th place overall.  Senior Nate Sloan was the next Warrior to cross the finish line, coming across in 33rd place.  Freshman Gabe Eaton and Junior Josiah Allman came in back-to-back in 40th and 41st place overall.

Bishop Chatard HS also nipped Cathedral HS on the girls side to take both the Boys and Girls City titles this year.  2019 City Tournament Girls XC Official Results.
