The Football team improved to 3-4 on the season with a strong performance at Shortridge HS Friday night, beating the Blue Devils 52-0 on their homecoming game.  The Warriors dominated Shortridge in every area, out gaining SHS in total offense 251-8.

The Covenant defense had a big night, not giving up a first down all game, and turning the Blue Devils over three times.  CCHS kept SHS to 0-for-12 on third down conversions and 0-for-4 on fourth down conversions.  Junior Gage Coffey picked up his area-leading sixth interception of the season, while Junior Trey Flatt also picked off a pass that set up another Coffey touchdown deep in Shortridge territory late in the third quarter.
