Girls Varsity Volleyball · Girls VB Picks Up Second Win in as Many Nights

The Girls Volleyball team (3-10) picked up their second straight win on Thursday night, as they defeated Indy Genesis 3-0.  The Lady Warriors jumped on their hosts early, winning the first game 25-8.  Genesis battled back in the second, but CCHS held on for a 25-22 victory.  Covenant sealed the sweep in the third game, winning 25-14.

Sophomore Lilly Kolthoff led CCHS with 13 digs to go along with 2 aces, while Sophomore Cadee Notter tallied 10 digs and five aces.  Seniors Sania Borom, Kara Whitney, and Lexi Bright each recorded 7, 6, and 4 kills respectively, while Freshman Dani Newport and Sophomore Bella Dart each chipped in five kills.

The Lady Warriors returns to Andrew Smith Court at Warrior Fieldhouse on Tuesday, as the Freshman face Pike HS at 4:30 pm and the JV/V host Monrovia HS at 6:00/7:00 pm.
