The Girls Volleyball team is showing signs of improvement, even though they are not as consistently as many would like to see.  The Lady Warriors put up a tough battle against Circle City Conference rival Heritage Christian School last night, falling 3-0.

HCS took the first set 25-17.  CCHS put up an even tighter fight in the second game, falling 22-25.  The Lady Eagles rallied from a 16-12 deficit in the third game to take the match 25-20.  CCHS drops to 1-10 on the year and 0-3 in CCC play.  HCS moves to 7-1 on the year and 2-1 in conference play.

Senior Sania Borom record 8 kills, while Sophomore Cadee Notter had 18 digs and 5 assists.  Sophomore setter Elizabeth Schafer led CCHS with 21 assists.  Freshman Dani Newport tallied 5 kills and two aces, while Sophomore Bella Dart chipped in four kills.  Senior Haley Cooper and Junior Gianna Catano each contributed five digs a piece.

Covenant will go just down the road to face rival Speedway HS on Wednesday night at 5:30/6:30p and then face Indy Genesie on Thursday night in a F/JV/V tripleheader.
