The Softball team picked up their second win in as many games on Tuesday night, as they traveled to North Putnam HS, and came away with a 7-5 victory.
NPHS got on the board for a single run in the bottom of the first inning, while CCHS rallied with a run of their own in the top of the third inning. The Lady Cougars regained the lead with another single run in the third inning. Covenant pushed ahead for good, as they plated five runs in the fourth inning to secure the win.
Sophomore Brooklyn Bond pitched 5.1 innings in the circle, giving up five runs on ten hits, while striking out four and walking none. Sophomore Aubrey Jones picked up the save in relief.
The Lady Warriors are back at home on Thursday, as they take on South Putnam HS at 5:15 pm.
