Girls Varsity Basketball · Williams-Harris and Everett Named All-Conference

The Circle City Conference released their All-Conference Team for Girls Basketball for the 2018-19 season on Wednesday.  The All-Conference Team is determined by coaches nominating their own players.  The list of nominated players are then voted on by the coaches of the CCC, with the top ten vote getters earning All-CCC selections.  2018-19 All-Conference Team selections.

Covenant Christian placed two players, Junior Ilani Williams-Harris and Senior Bailey Everett, on the All-Conference Team in the first year that CCHS competed in the conference.  The Lady Warriors were 3-2 in CCC games this season, with the conference title being determined in the final conference game of the season.  Heritage Christian won the CCC title for the second year in a row.

Everett was the Lady Warriors’ leading scorer this season and fifth leading scorer in the CCC, averaging 14.0 ppg, to go along with 3.5 rpg, 2.7 apg, and 2.4 spg.  Everett was the lone remaining member of the Class 2A State Runner-up team from the 2015-16.  She concluded her career with 907 points, 211 rebounds, 181 assists, and 168 steals.

Williams-Harris was Covenant’s leader in assists and second leading scorer.  Ilani averaged 13.1 ppg, 4.8 apg, 2.6 rpg, 2.6 apg during the 2018-19 season.  Williams-Harris was also the assist leader this season in the CCC.
