The Boys Tennis team concluded an outstanding season last night at Avon HS, losing 5-0 to AHS in the IHSAA Regional #1 semifinal.  The match was resumed on Wednesday after being suspended due to rain on Tuesday night.  The host Orioles advance to face Park Tudor in the regional final tonight.  Park Tudor defeated Zionsville CHS 4-1 in their semifinal match.

Senior Connor Craig battled at #1 Singles, before falling 0-6, 4-6.  Junior Luke Susud took the #2 Singles flight to three sets, losing 2-6, 6-3, 3-6.  Sophomore Lance Wells fell at #3 Singles 2-6, 2-6.  The #1 Doubles team of Senior Jake Brackett and Sophomore Graham Shelton lost their match 0-6, 1-6, while Seniors Nic Hood and Ian Zweifel lost the #2 Doubles flight 2-6, 0-6.

The Warriors won their third consecutive sectional title in 2018, their sixth overall in program history, as well a 3-2 record and fourth place finish in their inaugural season in the Circle City Conference.  CCHS also took third place in the City Tournament, with Craig advancing to the final in #1 Singles.  Congratulations on a great season and to the seniors on outstanding careers.
