The Boys Soccer team (3-5) picked up a solid win on Monday night, knocking off Plainfield HS (5-3) 2-1.  Coach David Pfeifer described the Warriors’ success by saying, “The team as a whole played aggressively and together.”

Senior Braden Havics picked up his second goal of the season, as he chipped a ball over the PHS goalkeeper from approximately 35 yards out.  Senior Maclain Hastings found the back of the net for the game-winner off of a corner kick and passes from Senior Gabe Byrd and Sophomore Eli Martin.  Senior goalkeeper Jacob Susud made three saves to secure the win.

The Warriors are in for a tough Circle City Conference matchup on the road on Thursday night, as they travel to Westfield to face Guerin Catholic HS at 5:30/7:00 pm.
