Purpose

The purpose of the Warrior Athletic Booster Club is to assist the athletic director and coaching staff in promoting and supporting the athletic program.

History

The Warrior Athletic Booster Club began in its infant stage during the 2002-03 school year. The following school year led to added organization and structure, including the election of a board of officers and ratification of by-laws. Since that time, the booster club have helped to raise monies for the upcoming athletic construction projects, purchase new scoreboards for the gym, new team seats for the gym, track & field record boards, and outdoor tents for our track and cross country teams, as well as expanding the amount of spirit gear offered. The WABC has future plans for continued fundraising for athletic facilities improvements and helping to see the expansion of the trophy cases.

Fundraisers

The booster club is involved in many areas of assistance within the athletic department, ranging from assisting with spirit gear items, operating the scoreboard and sound system at athletic events, providing promotional items, and organizing fundraising events such as the dessert auction, a golf scramble, and manning concession stands at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for several races.

Spirit Wear/Spirit Gear

The Warrior Athletic Booster Club has a lot of Covenant apparel and miscellaneous spirit items for sale through the Covenant bookstore and all athletic events.
